With a score of 7-3, Miami, in the 1st quarter, the Canes stuffed the Jackets forcing them to punt.  But then after three downs the Canes came up short, by a mere inch.  The Refs called the chains out and measured, and as usual the camera got a close-up of it, and it was clearly short.  At least an inch short, and much to my, and the announcers surprise, they called a 1st down for Miami.  I guess now you just have to get close to 10 yeards to get a 1st down, at least if you are Miami.  And the drive ended in a TD.  They better be talking about this on Sports Center tonight!!!  And the ACC should look into it.
