Nationals win 2 in a row against Yankees

The Washington Nationals may be the worst team in Major League Baseball, but Thursday night they beat the Yankees 3-0, to win the series 2-1 in New York.  Washington is 18.5 games out of first with only 17 wins.  Their team has not been firing on all cylinders since the season began.  At times their batting was phenominal, while their pitching and defense suffered (they lost to the Phillies 12-11 and 9-8), and other times their defense and pitching was on fire but the team couldn't connect bat to ball.  However, the two wins in a row, including the Nats' first shut-out of the season, against the Yankees could mark a turn around in the ball club.  Rumors abound that Manager Manny Acta's head is on the chopping block.  His team may have bought him another week, but the Nationals need to keep winning games if they want Acta to survive the season.
